Latinfina S.A., organized as a corporation (“sociedad anónima”) and validly existing under the laws of the Republic of Argentina, began its wine-related activities in 1998 by acquiring Finca La Pinta, a vineyard sited in the Province of Mendoza, Argentina.

The company started the wine-production in its own state-of-the-art facilities with the 2001 harvest, entering into a worldwide wine market with its brand Cristóbal 1492 “the wines of the new world for the entire world”.

Its shareholders, the Lapania Vandenbalck family, maintain a strong commitment with the company's local and international development. Hence, five years after the first harvest, the company's production is positioned as a reputable brand within highly competitive markets, such as Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

Don Cristóbal has a staff of 27 people, being Eduardo Lapania its CEO, a professional with significant experience in the oil industry.
